Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Lord bless my mentor with direction and focus towards the plans and purposes you have for my life.
Help my mentor to give me direction in the right course. Let his leading not take me farther from the Lord’s intended future for me in the name of Jesus. Grant, my mentor light in the darkness. Make the paths for success clear in his heart in the name of Jesus. Help my mentor to our confidence in your mighty love and power for direction in the name of Jesus.
Deliver my mentor from the distraction that the world uses to deceive and distract men from the right course in the name of Jesus. Help my mentor to keep his eyes on you as the maid looks up to her master. Let his heart be focused upon you in all that he does.

Lord Jesus, righteous judge of all the earth, bless my mentor this day with counsel and light for righteous judgment. Lord help my mentor to understand your unfathomable ways, for the scriptures says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says the LORD. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9). Strengthen him to discern and follow all your promptings even when he is unsure but acknowledge and trust you in his real decision-making. Help my mentor Lord to trust and submit to your righteous judgments in the name of Jesus.
Prayer for Humility for My Mentor
Bless my mentor, dear God, with the spirit of meekness and humility. Help him to live a life embroidered with a meek heart. May he know and submit himself at all points to your ways, thoughts, and manners in the name of Jesus.
Strengthen him with strength within that he may he never fight or defend himself but leave his grievances to your righteous judgment and vengeance. Help my mentor to humble himself under your mighty hands that you will exalt him in due times.
I pray that my mentor will never despise the Lord, even when he has been rebuked. Grant him grace to receive corrections with humility and meekness. Lord, help him walk humbly before you and submit to your holy spirit in all his endeavors.
Lord bless my mentor with a humble spirit that he might be received of the Lord. Help him receive the reward of humility for Proverbs 22:4 reads, “The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor, and life.”
Prayer for Wisdom for My Mentor
Heavenly Father, fill my mentor with wisdom that is from above in the name of Jesus. Help him to journey through your fear, knowledge, and understanding that he may emerge a wise man.
Proverbs 15:33 says, “The fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom, and before honor comes humility” so, Lord, help my mentor to abide in your holy wisdom in the name of Jesus. Make my mentor’s lips be filled with your wisdom that he may not be wise in his own sight.
Dear Lord, make your wisdom that is profit to direct rest on my mentor’s heart. That he may know what to say at all times and how to speak. May his words be salted with grace and turn away wrath in the name of Jesus.
Give my mentor spiritual wisdom that he will become unpredictable to the enemy. May the power of Christ become the wisdom by which he lives by that his life will be an example of the believer in all things in the name of Jesus.
Prayer for Strength for My Mentor
Gracious God bless my mentor with divine energy and strength to carry out all your will and desires. My mentor is a leader in different measures, and I pray that he will be endowed with strength in his inner man. May he walk and not be weary, run and not faint.
Teach him to always wait upon you so that you will renew his strength as the eagle’s in the name of Jesus.

Everlasting Father, your faithfulness is new every morning and your loving kindness sure from generation to generation. I pray you will help my mentor to be patient with us, his mentees.
Patience is a fruit of the spirit; Lord help him not to lack it in the name of Jesus. Mentoring is just like shepherding and mothering, which are all responsibilities of utmost patience. Dear Lord, help my mentor to do excellently well in it in Jesus name.

May his words be always salted with grace and sweetness in the name of Jesus. Teach him to use the weapon of gracious words to turn away anger, pain and sorrow in the name of Jesus.
