Prayer for Inner Healing and Wholeness

In February 2015, I lost the woman I was meant to marry.

At first, I thought I was fine. I kept working. I kept moving. Life appeared normal on the outside. But about a month later, something strange began to happen inside my body.

Because I worked online, I noticed I was going to the toilet three or four times within an hour. I felt pain deep in my abdomen. Strapping my belt became uncomfortable. I felt sensations I could not explain. It felt like ulcers. It felt serious. It felt frightening.

I went to the hospital.
Tests were done.
Results came back clear.
Yet the pain stayed.

Even when I got married the following year, the symptoms did not disappear. I experienced unexplained diarrhoea. I became afraid. I ran more tests, even HIV tests, because the symptoms made no sense. Again, nothing was found.

Until one specialist listened carefully.

He linked everything back to the bereavement of the previous year.
Psychosomatic, he called it.

That moment marked the beginning of my healing.

What I went through was not imaginary.
It was not a weakness.
It was grief living in my body.

If the wound had been external, people could have seen it.
If there had been a visible cut, it could have been treated easily.

But this pain ran deep.
It was internal.
It was unseen.

I could feel myself breaking inside, yet medical intervention could not reach it.

And maybe that is where you are today.

Your need for healing may not look like mine, but it may feel just as real.
It could be betrayal.
Bereavement.
Abandonment.
Chronic fear.
Long-term stress.
Emotional trauma you never had space to process.

Inner wounds do not always announce themselves clearly. But they leave traces. In the body. In the emotions. In the spirit.

Jesus did not pretend life would be free of pain.

“In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33

This verse does not deny suffering.
It acknowledges it.

And it also declares something greater.

The same God who healed me can reach you beyond this screen today. He is not limited by distance. He is not confused by unseen battles. He understands pain that has no medical explanation.

So today, I pray that your sins are forgiven.
I pray for healing to flow through your body.
I pray that every unseen battle you have been fighting comes to an end.
I pray that every force tormenting you loses its hold, in the name of Jesus.

Inner healing is possible.
Wholeness can be restored.

And the prayers that follow are here to help you begin that journey, gently and truthfully.

When you are ready, say the prayers below slowly, believing that healing can reach even the deepest places.
