Letter to the One Who Prays but Feels Nothing

You pray, but it feels quiet.
Empty.
Unresponsive.

No rush of peace.
No strong emotion.
Just words falling into stillness.

If this is you, you are not doing prayer wrong.

Prayer is not measured by how it feels.
It is measured by faithfulness.

God does not require emotion to listen.
He hears prayers spoken with certainty and prayers spoken with doubt.

Feeling nothing does not mean God is absent.
It often means He is inviting trust without sensation.

Some seasons of prayer are full.
Others are faithful.

And faithful prayers still matter.

Keep praying.
Not to feel something.
But because you are choosing to stay connected.

God is nearer than your feelings suggest.
