Letter to the One Who Keeps Missing Prayer Time

You promised yourself you would pray today.
And then the day happened.

Time slipped.
Distractions grew.
And now you are here again, feeling like you failed something sacred.

If this feels familiar, you are not alone.

Missing prayer time does not make you distant from God.
It makes you human.

God is not keeping a record of how often you showed up late or forgot.
He is not disappointed that your schedule was louder than your intentions.

Prayer was never meant to be another place you perform well or poorly.
It was meant to be a place you come honestly.

Some days, prayer looks like quiet words and focus.
Other days, it looks like a whispered “God, I meant to” before sleep.

Both are heard.

You do not have to wait for the perfect time to return to God.
You can come in the middle of the mess.
You can come tired.
You can come distracted.

Prayer is not cancelled because you missed yesterday.
Grace does not expire because you are inconsistent.

If all you have today is a moment, give Him that.
If all you have is a sigh, offer it.

God is not waiting for your discipline.
He is welcoming your presence.
