There are days when God feels close, and then there are days when He feels distant.
If you are honest, today might feel like the second kind.
You still believe.
You still know the words.
But the closeness you once felt seems quiet, almost out of reach.
If that is you, this letter is for you.
Feeling far from God does not mean you have failed.
It does not mean your faith has disappeared.
And it does not mean God has moved away.
Often, distance in faith is not separation but an invitation.
An invitation to slow down.
To stop performing.
To stop forcing connections the way they used to look.
God is not measuring how close you feel to Him.
He is not waiting for perfect words or stronger emotions.
He is present even when you feel empty.
He is near even when prayer feels awkward.
He is listening even when silence feels heavy.
Sometimes faith looks like certainty.
At other times, it seems like staying.
Staying when you feel unsure.
Staying when worship feels quiet.
Staying when all you can say is, “God, I’m here.”
That is still faith.
You do not need to recreate the past version of your relationship with God.
You are allowed to meet Him here, in this season, as you are.
If you feel far from God today, do not run from Him.
Sit with Him.
Even if the silence feels uncomfortable.
Distance does not scare God.
Honesty draws Him near.
You are not behind.
You are not late.
You are not forgotten.
You are still held.
And I want to say I love you. God bless you.
