Prayer for Church Workers on Sunday Morning

Sunday Morning for believers working in the vineyard of the Lord co-labouring with the master is not the same for regular church members. This is why starting the Lord’s Day with prayers is gainfully important.

The church of God is a spiritual entity this is why the Lord Jesus Christ promised shortly before he went to the cross that he will build his church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. For this course, it is expedient to pray that the spirit of Christ should govern one’s heart during service especially on a Sunday.

We also must not be ignorant of the devices of the enemy that he always seeks the minutest opportunity to truncate anything the Lord is doing. His least joy is that things will never work for God and his children. So, as church workers, no matter how ordinary what our department does must be strengthened and energized with prayers before commencing a glorious day.

So, let us all bow our heads and hearts as we invite the master of the universe to work with and through us in the renewing strength of the Spirit through today’s service.

Prayer Points for Your Church Workers on Sunday Morning

Dear God, we are grateful for granting us the gift of life to be in your house this beautiful Sunday morning and we appreciate you for giving us the grace to work in your vineyard as workers. We pray for grace to work faithfully in your presence and that today’s service will be blessed in Jesus name, amen.

1. Our Lord and Our God, we thank you for giving us the gift of life today. We are delighted by your grace and mercy upon us all. Great is your faithfulness upon us, our families and the church at large. Thank you Lord because our gathering today is not of sorrow, pain or mourning, we are very grateful. Thank you Lord for good health and strength in our bodies to stand here in your presence to work in your house. We are very thankful for the heart and desire for service. We ask that today’s service will bring great joy and satisfaction to your heart in Jesus name, amen.

2. Dear father, we ask that you will bless every heart here today with the spirit of faithfulness. As we serve in your house, fill us with grace to do everything we do faithfully to please you and not our unit leaders, nor church leaders or even the pastor. Help us to always see you at our right hand and to hold on to the understanding that you are our supervisor and judge. Help me Lord to serve today to the best of my ability and out the devil to shame through my service in the name of Jesus, amen.

3. The men of Issachar knew what Israel should do per time; we receive grace of the Lord today to know what to do at any given time. Impact us with enablement to be proactive in all we do. Prepare our hearts and minds as workers to tackle any challenge that this group is going to face today and supply wisdom and understanding to provide the best solution to such challenge. Lord, show us a way out of every difficult matter. We banish from every unit in this church the spirit of confusion in the name of Jesus, amen.

4. Heavenly father, let the people respond to us positively today. As your children come to worship in church today, reign over their hearts and mind to submit to you through the direction and instructions we give as we serve them. We bind and put to flight every spirit of stubbornness in both young and old in the name of Jesus. Let them find grace to be submissive to order in your presence that they will align with your spirit as the service progresses today in the name of Jesus, amen.

5. Jesus, the good shepherd as your ministers communicate your intention to your people in words, songs and other things, we ask grant entrance of your word into the people’s heart. Fill your ministers with gracious words that will bring light and joy to the lives of your people. Let their tongues be made as a pen of a ready writer to input your divine nature into your people. Oh father, Bless the ministers to provide abundant answers to questions that have plagued the hearts of your people until now. The scriptures says ‘ on mountain Zion there shall be deliverance and the people of God will possess their possession, we declare that in this Sunday Worship Service today, there will grace for reconciliation and deliverance in the name of Jesus.

6. Just like the Apostle Paul declared in Philippians 4:13 saying “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” We also declare that we receive strength to do all we are meant to do in our various departments. We do not lack physical energy and vitality. Lord work through us to accomplishment in the name of Jesus. We are granted grace to labour in love; preferring the other more than ourselves in the spirit of humility and righteousness in the name of our Lord Jesus. we bind and silence every spirit of complaining and strife in our heart. We pray today that we will not be weary, not at all in the name of Jesus, amen.

7. Jesus the faithful and true witness let your glorious presence light up the atmosphere in our service today. May your angels who are ministering spirits carry your manifest presence from the throne this morning into our church service today. Let it be a glorious service indeed. Let every eye be opened to see your face that darkness and blindness will be swallowed up by the electrifying glory of your face in the name of Jesus. Just as the cloud of glory filled the temple in the days of Moses, engulf our service with your glory. We want to see you, we want to know you, let your glory fill our meeting today in the name of Jesus, amen.

8. Dear Father, grant us the grace to serve your ministers with a true heart. Your ministers have labored in word, song and other things to move this assembly forward, help us to through our service bring succor to them. After Jesus encountered the enemy, angels came to minister to him, help us to support and comfort out ministers from the rigors of the world. Give us the grace to always cultivate the right atmosphere around your ministers. We do not want to be a stumbling block to their progress and connection in the spirit, help us our father. Fill us up with the aura of peace and comfort from within.

9. This is the day of the Lord, we rejoice and are glad in it. We pray dear Lord that our joy and gladness will be contagious and will reflect through the smiles on our faces. No matter what anyone of us has faced before coming to church today we declare that the oil of gladness saturate every heart of workers interfacing with your people today. Fill our hearts with joy unspeakable that we will infect anyone that comes around us in Jesus name. Bless us with anointing to smile from our heart. Ghost us with life, peace, joy and gladness as we serve your people today. Let life flow through us in the name of our Lord Jesus, amen.

10. Father of Light, with you dwells true wisdom. The teens and young adults of this age are witty in their ways. Yet, I am persuaded that our teens and young adults are God-fearing, so dear Lords fill them with special fear and reverence for our gathering today. We pray that you will bless us with patience to bear with their excesses and wisdom to instruct them with love and calmness. They can also be very unpredictable, let help us curtail unprecedented circumstances gracefully in the name of Jesus. Fill their hearts with deep hunger and thirst for righteousness. Help them to be personally interested in the church activities today. Capture their hearts with love and presence in the name of Jesus.

11. In same vein Lord, we pray for our children, that you bless them in today’s service in the name of Jesus. Work through their teachers and caregivers to show your undying and unconditional love to them. We bless their teachers with the grace to bring the reality of your word down to their levels. Endow their teachers with abundant grace today to lead their young heart to the life in you. Give the children hearing ears and obedient hearts in the name of Jesus. as Jesus grew in grace and increased in favour with God and man. We import all our children into your favour and grace that they may they grow exceedingly in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ in the name of Jesus.

12. We as workers in the house of the Lord are not ignorant of the devices of the enemy, so we stand in the gap this morning to say no evil intention cooking up in anyone’s heart to truncate today’s service. Whether such person is a member of the church or not, fear and anxiety replaces such evil intention in the person’s heart and mind. Love for the pastor and this assembly at large replaces hate in the name of Jesus. We arrest the heart of such individual and such is overpowered by the power of life. Just like Saul of Tarsus encountered the mighty power of the Lord Jesus, such individual encounters the awesomeness of the redeeming power of Jesus.

Short Prayer Points to Say for Them

1. Lord, we bless you for today. Thank you for your everlasting love, goodness and favour over our lives, for this we bless your name in Jesus name, amen.

2. Father, thank you for the gift of life for every member of this work force, we also appreciate health in our bodies; we are not gathered here today to mourn or sorrow over any one of us. We are grateful Lord.

3. We cannot but mention for granting us the great privilege of working in your vineyard. It is not because we are the best but it is your mercy that chose us that you may make your blessing rest upon us.

7. We also ask that as your people come to your house today to worship in your presence bless them with a hearing ear and an obedient heart in the name of Jesus, amen.

8. Dear Lord, let your Holy Spirit fill and saturate this atmosphere with love and reverence for your name in Jesus name, amen.

9. Quicken the feet of your children to church this morning, may the enemy not be successful in keeping any one at home for any reason in Jesus name, amen.

10. Life and peace is ours in your presence today. We declare all things will work together for our good in the name of Jesus, amen.

11. We receive strength to work and not get weary or tired. We tap into the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that was sufficient for the Apostle Paul in the name of Jesus.

12. We cancel any spirit of mistakes and misconduct in all our units and departments of functionality.

13. We are decked with the spirit of wisdom and excellence to do all our duties to the best it can ever be, we destroy any local and mediocrity spirit in the name of Jesus.

14. Father we know that when we ask, we will receive; so we ask for the heart of a servant to do all of your will in the service today in Jesus name.

15. We bless you dear Lord because you have answered our prayers today, we declare that at the end of today’s service our mounts will be full of thanksgiving in Jesus name, amen.

Dear conscientious church worker, I am persuaded that you will have a splendid Sunday service today because you have used your own mouth to set in motion the power of life in the meeting today. Do bask in the presence of the spirit.
