Letter to the One Who Feels Distant From Church but Not From God

You still believe.
You still pray.
You still care about your faith.

But the church feels complicated now.

Something shifted.
Something hurt.
Something no longer fits the way it once did.

And you feel conflicted.

You do not want to walk away from God.
But you do not feel at home where you once did.

If this is you, you are not alone.

Faith is bigger than one space.
God is not limited to one building, one rhythm, or one expression.

Distance from church does not automatically mean distance from God.
Sometimes it means your faith is becoming more personal, more honest, more thoughtful.

That does not mean community is unimportant.
It means you are navigating change.

You are allowed to ask questions about where you belong.
You are allowed to grieve what once felt safe.
You are allowed to take time before returning.

God is patient with faith that is rearranging itself.

Do not rush yourself into places that no longer nurture your spirit.
Do not abandon faith because belonging feels complicated.

God walks with you in this tension.
He is not disappointed by your honesty.

You are not less faithful because your journey looks different now.
You are still seeking God.

And He is still near.
