Prayers for Peace Among Family Members

You are in search of reconciliation, so take these prayers for peace among family members, and every conflict around you will be resolved, never to be remembered.

Our families do not seem to be complete without different grades of conflicts. There is a saying that “the closeness between the teeth and the tongue does not eliminate clashes”; no matter how close the bond in a family is, intermittent disagreements are bound to occur. But when conflicts begin to set discord amongst family members, something must be done to salvage the situation quickly. I believe that is why you are here today.

Most times, parents become judges and advocates between children, then later in life, the table turns around, and children stand in between parents who are at logger ends to mend broken walls. Family conflicts are both simple and difficult to handle because of the bond of love that ties them together. The truth is conflicts in family are bond to occur, but strong families always come out stronger. I believe yours will be one.

Apart from sibling to sibling conflict that characterize childhood. Parents must work hard to make siblings know that conflicts must not reduce their love for each other and must be always ready to exchange sorry and forgiveness where applicable. There are also conflict between parents and children that borders on disparity in dreams and ambitions in life. It’s actually the conflict between parents that is the most difficult to understand or resolve.

Yet, no matter how little or great a conflict is, something must be done about it before it gets out of hand. And I think that’s why you are here today to ensure the conflict in your family does not blow out of proportion. Dear reader, I can assure you that the ears of the Lord are ready to hear your prayers and he who is the Balm of Gilead will heal all hurts and pains in your family.

Prayers of Peace among Family Members

Lord, I bless you for the gift of having a family. There are many who have lost all their family members to one tragedy or the other. it is because my family members are alive that I can have misunderstanding with them. But I am not enjoying this estate of discord so today I take these prayers of peace among family members to help me resolve every conflict in the name of Jesus, amen.

1. Father to Children

Dear God, I thank you for my children; they are my sunshine and they bring great joy to my life and family. Thank you for keep them from the first day of their lives till now. My family is your footstool on the earth; so let your mercy flow through us all in the name of Jesus.

I bring my entire before you today, shine the light of understanding in their hearts. My children are not happy with one another for some reasons that common sense will explain, but they tend not to understand themselves. Infuse your unconditional love into their hearts in the name of Jesus

Cast out the spirit of discord amongst my children. Make them best friends of each other in the name of Jesus. Help them to seek each other’s wellbeing in the name of Jesus and to prefer the other better than themselves. Uproot every seed and planting of discord and unforgiveness in the name of Jesus. Cause your light to shine out of darkness and shed your love abroad in their heart

Grant them wisdom on how to relate with one another in love, peace, meekness and knowledge in the name of Jesus. Create in them a new heart that does not hold on to conflict and ill feelings in the name of Jesus.

1. Mother to Children

I thank you, dear God, for making me a happy mother of such amazing children. I know that the devil is always seeking an opportunity of whom to devour, so I declare my children are not a prey to the devil in the name of Jesus.

I pray today that every work of the enemy amongst my children is destroyed in the name of Jesus. Every seed of evil setting discord between them, burn by the fire of the Holy Ghost. Any tree of offence causing disunity is uprooted in their midst with immediate effect in the name of Jesus.

Lord, lighten my children’s heart with your sweet, amazing love. Help them to feel your love through each other in the name of Jesus. Make them best of friends who are strongly bonded and connected with each other. Help them for always have the best interest of each other at heart in the name of Jesus.

1. Sibling to Sibling

Dear God help my siblings who are not in good terms with one another to find a space of love in their hearts that they will get along well in the name of Jesus.

Teach them to forgive one another when offences arise just like in this situation. Grant them the wisdom to resolve conflict without fighting and quarreling.

Establish them in your love that is without dissimulation that the perfection of love in the heart will cast out every hurt, pain and offence against each other in the name of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, purify their thoughts and imaginations about one another that no evil seed of discord will thrive in the name of Jesus. I condemn every fiery thought of discord shot into their minds by the enemy in the name of Jesus.

Create a clean heart within my siblings, oh Lord! Bless them with a heart of love, calmness and sweetness devoid of offences and conflicts in the name of Jesus.

1. Children to Parents

Blessed Lord, help my parents to be at peace with each other and every evil spirit that want to set conflict between them is judged today in the name of Jesus.

Father, please help my parents, they are not doing well with each other. Both complain bitterly about the other; dear God, help them to be at peace with each other. Help them to find love again. Let their heart burn fervently for each other again.

I rebuke every spirit of offence, malice and pride towards each other. Help them to seek the good of themselves in the name of Jesus. settle every dispute and disagreement with your all-knowing and infinite wisdom in the name of Jesus.

Let their marriage defile all the intension of the devil and his cohorts in the name of Jesus. Fill their hearts with your divine love that melts all forms of conflict in Jesus name. Heal my parents and make their relationship whole again in Jesus name.

1. Among Cousins

Abba Father, you are the source and author of life and love, goodness and mercy are the reins of your throne. Bless my cousins with the power to forgiveness in the name of Jesus.

They have offended one another and are now in conflict, give them the grace to be humble that they may see their faults in the name of Jesus. Grant them the grace to forgive and restore their love for one another.

The enemy is put to shame in my cousins’ lives in the name of Jesus. Every work of devil to break their friendship is destroyed today. Grant them the strength to let go of all their hurts and pains against one another.

Set my cousins free from all the painful memories of offence, hurts and bitterness in the name of Jesus. Love swallows up hatred in among my friends in the name of Jesus.

1. Among Uncles and Aunts (Extended Family Members)

Come Lord Jesus and fill the hearts of my family members especially my Uncles and Aunts in the name of Jesus. they are all caught up with different ideas, understanding and submission on cogent matters. Dear Lord, diffuse your love and understanding into their hearts that they may be able to see matters from the others’ view point in Jesus name.

Every weapon of discord fashioned against my family to cause conflict will not prosper in the name of Jesus. I cast down every stronghold of longtime offence and conflict in the name of Jesus. The sweet spirit of Christ raises a standard against the works of the enemy in my family in the name of Jesus.

Dear Lord, help their hearts to let go of old ideals and habits that foster discord in the name of Jesus. Help them to deal with issues of pride and fill them with love to cast away fear in the name of Jesus.

I strongly believe, dear reader, that you came here by divine arrangement today. God is set to turn the atmosphere in your family around. Don’t relent in taking these prayers until you see a definite change. Have Faith! The answer to your prayers is just at your reach.
