Prayers of Braverycerely think you are the best Dad in the world. Yes, truly! To have raised a son who decided to serve his country and now has been deployed for active service is something you should be proud of. Even if you have mixed feelings, it is perfectly okay right now.
Being called to join The Force is a rare privilege that only the selfless responds to. Not to talk about being lucky enough to be deployed to serve the nation.
No matter what your experience with The Force has been, all you can do when this young man has made one of the most difficult decisions is to accompany him with prayers all the way.
Do not rest your mind on all the arduous training and tasks that he will be saddled with but on the strong, brave, honourable, and selfless man he has become and that the Lord will return him home safely.
Let us pray!
