Opening Prayer for Choir Practice (Rehearsal)

You would expect some Christian prayers to come easy but many of us are often overwhelmed that we struggle to put a few words together in prayer. It could be embarrassing sometimes, right? I’ve been there too, and that’s why I have helped put together these samples of opening prayer for choir practice or rehearsal.

Don’t forget that God can decide to lead you to pray in a different light. When that happens, kindly allow the prompting to take preeminence, after all, you’re to do everything to His glory.

Prayer Before Choir Practice

Master of the universe, we thank you for making us vessels in your hands. Our prayer at the opening of this practice (rehearsal) is that you will take absolute control and help us to sing with one voice to your glory, like angels do in heaven in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Our father in heaven, thank you for another day as we proceed in this practice, we ask for leading by your Spirit and we rebuke opposing thoughts and opinions that maybe stir up by the jealousy of Satan who lost this privilege before we came on earth in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Heavenly father, thank you for your mercy and grace, thank you for helping us thus far. We pray for harmony and unity in this practice and we come against disagreement and division. We ask that you alone will be glorify in our midst and with our songs in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear Lord, we thank for making us minstrels in your house. We pray that your strength we be supplied to everyone one of us. We ask o Lord that at end of ages we will not miss our rewards in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Opening Prayer Points for Choir Practice

1. Heavenly father, we thank you for your presence today, we ask that you will reign supreme in our midst, help us Lord today in the name of Jesus Christ.

2. Most high God, who inhabits the praises of his people, we pray that your Spirit will take the lead in this rehearsal in the name of Jesus Christ.

5. Father in the name of Jesus Christ, we come to you humbly today as we gather in the rehearsal and we ask that your grace be on us to sing with one voice in the name of Jesus Christ.

6. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we commit our choir director and master into your hand and we pray for wisdom and grace to lead us aright in this practice in the name of Jesus Christ.

7. Father in heaven, we pray today that your love will compel us to have deeper experience with You in this rehearsal in the name of Jesus Christ.

8. Father in the name of Jesus Christ, in today’s rehearsal, we command every arm of flesh to be silenced, we close up the entrance of our heart against the devil in the name of Jesus Christ.

9. Great father of mercy, we pray in today’s practice that You will align us with the heavenly beings who are in charge of song, so that we can hear heavenly rhythm in the name of Jesus Christ.

10. Father in the name of Jesus Christ, we stand against every accusation of the accuser of brethren against this practice by the blood of Jesus Christ.
