Reality check: not everyone wakes up in the morning to remember the faithfulness of God. Most of us rise up, prepare for the activities of the day and dash out to face the daily struggles to make ends meet. And when we decide to pray, our proclivity is to our daily needs and security. The lists are endless, right? I understand.
And that you are here for some prayer of thanks, thanksgiving, praise and gratitude does not negate the obvious fact that you also have needs like every mortal. Prayer of Thanksgiving and Praise this Morning
Lord I come before you today with thanksgiving just to show my gratitude to you for being there always. This morning prayer is to praise your Holy and wonderful name for loading me daily with benefits. Thank you for all you have done for me, friends and family members in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Note: Before you sleep tonight, you can say these nighttime thanksgiving prayers too.
Father of heaven and the earth, thank you for another morning you have given to me. Thank you Lord for your sustenance through out the night and for watching over me. The Psalmist said in Psalms 3:5, โI lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me.โ
May your name be praised in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Truly, Lord, your word says that if you are for me, no one can stand against me. Father, I thank for you are for me always. Your presence gives me courage to move on. This morning, Lord, I return all glory to you for your ever abiding presence and for your promise that you will never leave me nor forsake in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Every new day comes with new hope for the living. Dear God, I thank for new morning, new day, new hope and aspirations. Thank you Lord for I am still among the living who will rise and give you praise today.
Thank you for the breath of life in my nostrils and I thank you, God for your protection from sudden death in the name of Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father, I thank you because you are the only one who answers prayers and there is no one like you in heaven or on earth. Thank you for answering my prayers, thank you for not turning away my supplications and thank you for your mercy that answers my prayers. In my distress, I called upon you and you showed up for me. When all around my soul gave way, you were the one I called and you stood by me. How can I repay you Lord for everything you have done for me. I bring a sacrifice of praise to you, my Lord in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
The word that is ever true declares that you Lord set the solitary in families. Thank you Lord for my life and my family. Truly I know that anyone who calls on your name shall never be put to shame. Thank you Lord for rolling shame away from me and my family. Thank you for your shield of protection over my household, you are such an amazing father and I thank you. Thank you Lord for my children and my wife because you gave them peace in the spirits, souls and bodies in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
I thank you Lord for who you are. I am very grateful Lord for opening your hands and for satisfying my desire. Thank you for for upholding me when I fell and for raising me up when I was bowed down. How can I thank you enough Lord Jesus, you are everything to me and I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Dear Lord, great and mighty is your name. I thank you Lord because though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. Thank you Lord for you reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me. I give you thanks because you, Lord will work out your plans for my lifeโ for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. 29. Father thank you for not rebuking me in your hot displeasure when I go wrong because you love me. Thank you for your love over me in the name of Jesus Christ.
30. In Isaiah 48:17 โThus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I [am] the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way [that] thou shouldest go.โ
